terms & conditions

Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts you enter into as a consumer via the dreieckstudio online shop (dreieckstudio.de) with Marina Schroeder, dreieckstudio, Frankfurt am Main, hi@dreieckstudio.de. The shop is directed exclusively at consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB, i.e. individuals ordering for private, non-commercial purposes.

Formation of Contract

The presentation of products in the shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding invitation to place an order. By submitting your order, you make a binding offer to purchase. The purchase contract is formed once I confirm your order by email or dispatch the ordered goods.

Contract Language

The contract is concluded in German (or English, depending on the website language you select).

Prices and Payment

All prices stated are final prices. As a small business owner under § 19 UStG (German VAT exemption for small businesses), I do not charge VAT.Available payment methods are shown to you during checkout. Payment is due immediately upon formation of the contract, unless otherwise agreed.

Delivery and Shipping

Information on delivery times and shipping costs can be found on the Shipping & Returns page. For made-to-order pieces, the individual production time stated there applies.I currently ship to Germany and within the EU.

Retention of Title

The delivered goods remain my property until paid for in full.

Right of Withdrawal

The separate provisions in the Shipping & Returns notice apply to the exercise of your right of withdrawal and form part of these Terms and Conditions. For pieces made individually to your specifications, the right of withdrawal may be excluded under § 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB; a corresponding notice will appear on the relevant product page.

Warranty

The statutory warranty rights for defects apply. If you receive a defective item, please contact me at hi@dreieckstudio.de— I'll work with you to find a solution. Since my products are handmade, small irregularities typical of hand-weaving (e.g. minor variations in colour or texture) may occur. These do not constitute a defect, but are an expression of the handcrafted production process.

Liability

I am liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for intent and gross negligence. For damages caused by slight negligence, I am only liable if an essential contractual obligation was breached, and in that case limited to the foreseeable, typical damage for this type of contract.

Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. I am not obligated and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Final Provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
